Teachers’ Attitudes Toward Information and Communication Technologies Scale: Adaptation Study to Turkish

This study aims to adapt the scale developed by Albirini (2006) regarding teachers' attitudes towards Information and Communication Technologies into Turkish. Since linguistic equivalence of adaptation studies should be ensured before starting reliability validity studies, original was translated Turkish researchers, stages translation, evaluation translations, expert opinion, back translation opinion were applied six different experts. The final version discussed with teachers’ experts for a culturally acceptable English teachers who work in Sarıyer district Istanbul applied, form at times provide data on scale. After achieved, descriptive method used scale, participants selected convenient sampling method. research consist 150 from disciplines primary, secondary, high schools 2020-2021 academic year. Explanatory factor analysis, t-test, correlation, Cronbach's alpha coefficient calculated measure validity. Confirmatory analysis performed ensure construct as α = 891 is higher than 0.7, TAICT can considered reliable. It expected that this will tool future educational research. However, due COVID-19 pandemic, limited number people could reached, survey conducted online.
